Nord Anglia School Jakarta provides a British-style education for students aged 18 months old to 12 years old. We follow the English National Curriculum supplemented by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
At Nord Anglia School Jakarta, we believe there are no limits to what our students can achieve. Our holistic educational approach fosters a love of learning, balances academic success and supports your child’s character development and wellbeing.
NAS Jakarta is specially designed as a learning oasis where every child is nurtured to thrive, and our friendly atmosphere provides a true haven for our international community in the heart of one of the world’s busiest cities. We provide an education that is nurturing, academically motivating and focused on developing the individual talents and strengths of your child, whether that be on our lush green campus or in our stimulating virtual school environment.
As a Nord Anglia Education school, we only recruit the best international teachers to make every day an impact for our students. Our international educators are highly experienced and qualified and our excellent standards of learning and teaching create a curriculum that your child will find relevant, rich and rewarding.
Our outstanding students embody the ambitious aspirations of Nord Anglia Education as confident, resilient and creative young people with a thirst for knowledge and desire to succeed at whatever they choose to do or be in life. Nord Anglia School Jakarta is a special place to learn and is focused on one main goal: providing the best learning experience for all.
Our amazing students are the lifeblood of our school, enthusiastic young people with an appetite for learning and thirst for knowledge. We know that children who are happy and secure in their learning environment are children who are more likely to thrive and so we strive to ensure that every day matters for every child.
We deliver a dynamic education to our young learners aged 18 months to 12 years old both face-to-face on campus, and virtually when our students are learning from home. We use a blended curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England combined with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which focuses on high expectations, key skills and knowledge and understanding, as well as encouraging excellent attitudes to learning and metacognition.
Our international educators are highly experienced and qualified and our excellent standards in learning and teaching create a curriculum that is relevant, rich and rewarding. We want our students to develop as well-rounded, global citizens and so alongside the academic curriculum, we place great value on the Visual and Performing Arts, Sport, Service, and Extra-Curricular Activities. Students are challenged to extend their learning, to follow their passions, and to be enthusiastic about the positive impact they can have on the world.
The wellbeing of our children is paramount. We place great emphasis on building high quality personal and social skills, which have a positive impact on standards of achievement and attitudes to learning. We also place great value in our working partnership with parents. Integral to your child’s successful learning is the engagement between home and school in the pursuit of excellence. All our staff strive to create a climate of learning with strong, open and positive partnerships between adults, children and the wider community that ensures the wellbeing of all.
During the year ahead, we will take those elements of our school for which it is rightly renowned – its warmth, community, highly-regarded curricula, and outstanding teachers – and blend them with the best that can be offered by the world’s leading international schools group: our expertise at running great schools, our unique collaborations with leading education providers like MIT and The Juilliard School, our ability to attract and retain great teachers, and the unique opportunities to engage with learners across the globe online.
We also provide additional specialist programmes for our Dutch students, leading to the Dutch National Tests. Other language programmes are Indonesian language and English as a second language for our students who need to strengthen their English skills.
Nord Anglia School Jakarta is a special place to learn and is focused on one main aim: to provide the best possible learning experience for all. We look forward to sharing that experience with you and your family.
We believe there is no limit to what our students can achieve. So we encourage them to be ambitious. To reach for their dreams. To step outside their comfort zones and try something new. We ignite their curiosity.
Being ambitious inspires our students. It urges them to stretch themselves that little bit further. To be relentlessly optimistic. To be the best that they can be. And beyond that to make a difference, to make things better, throughout our world.
Ambition can take them anywhere. It’s transformational. It’s what makes the extraordinary possible. But it’s only the spark. It takes passion, determination and commitment to make it a reality. It takes creativity and innovation. It takes resilience and courage. It takes confidence.
That’s why our outstanding teachers nurture these essential skills through personalised learning for each child. We build on each student’s individual strengths and passions. We create challenge in every lesson and every activity so that they continuously grow and learn. We offer unique experiences to open new opportunities.
Our family of schools empower our students to achieve beyond what they may have thought possible, academically, socially and personally.

Our older son started his journey in NAS post kindergarten. We had heard wonderful things about the school in terms of its teachers and the school values that help equip children with confidence and a sense of community and responsibility. Once we saw our older son thriving in the school, we knew this was the journey we wanted for our younger son as well, albeit right from nursery itself. The size of the school allows plenty of opportunities for the older kids to develop confidence and leadership skills. Your child will not be another kid in the crowd, there is personal attention given to his learning and development. We joined NAS during the covid times. From online only to a buzzing space for kids (with many workshops for adults too), we are happy to be a part of the journey. They also opened a new Nursery section and our younger son was lucky to be a part of the first batch to attend it. The best part about NAS is the sense of belongingness. It is a close knit group here and right from the entrance gate, every kid is addressed by his/her name, which makes them feel safe and valued. As a neighborhood school, the distance is a big advantage too - if you can find a house nearby commute becomes so easy. Also, the children (especially the younger ones) have an amazing green setup to explore and learn. They also encourage active participation from the parents end and there are plenty of opportunities for you to be involved with the school. We highly recommend NAS.

My twins have attended NAS for the last 3 years in Foundation 1, Foundation 2 and Year 1. We have been absolutely delighted with the school and would not hesitate to recommend NAS to any families with young children in Jakarta. The teaching staff that we have experienced over the years have all been extremely high quality, and really care about the children and their development. They tailor learning activities for each child's level, and help foster children's individual interests. The school is small, but the classroom facilities and play areas are really lovely. As an expat parent I have gotten great satisfaction and personal fulfilment through volunteer activities at the school, particularly attending reading sessions with the children each week to help them develop their phonics.

Our kids have been here in the past two years. Starting off as shy kids, they have transformed into totally different, confident, and (for their age) well-educated children. Kids are 9 and 8 years old currently. Facilities are high quality, but what really stands out in our view is the individual attention, care, and learning plan. The school feels like a second home, but then with incredibly high learning standards - not just academic, but also critical values in life: Curiosity, Kindness, Resilience.

Our kids have been enrolled at NAS Jakarta for 3.5 years. They have had a wonderful learning journey. I'm really impressed how resilient and dedicated they have become and what great progress overall they have achieved. This is due to the fantastic staff and teachers at NAS and we can definitely recommend it as school for young learners. Great communit and the kids absolutely loved it! Thanks!

The most welcoming, nurturing and inclusive school. My kids absolutely loved the school. Kids need to be happy to go to school to develop love for learning and the does a great job at that. Highly recommended.

We have visited many schools in Jakarta and finally chose NAS. Since the first day it has been a wonderful adventure for our son who started in early years when he was only 18 months old. NAS Jakarta offers a great level of education but is also a school with a beautiful soul. Everyone knows each other and can rely on each other. Thanks to this approach our family felt instantly at home.
Teachers are amazing and very involved with all the children. Kids are encouraged to surpass and be the best of themselves.

We had our 4 year old here, sadly for only a short time due to relocation. Small school, great teachers, spacey campus with places to run, climb, sit, and discover. Also: own pool, swimming lessons in curriculum. Teachers, staff and parents are a rather tight-knit community here, creating a great atmosphere of exchange. Would definately have our child stay longer if we could have.
Hopefully I am one of the last to post this: well working and useful hygiene protocols.

Great school :) The teachers are warm and supportive, the community is tight knie and welcoming. Campus has a lot of open air, well ventilated spaces, and greenery.

Everything started at the beginning of this year while reviewing the list of schools provided by my company. We felt a good vibe since we check the website, during our school tour I was well received by admission department (Miss Eka and Miss Rosy), both were very open and welcoming not even being part of school, but that charming behaviour remains until the last day. My kids love it, they came from a smaller school, but the adaptation process was quite fast, teachers specially were a key element of that process, Misses Dwi, Dom and Ayala demonstrate all the time they are caring and commitment with the kids of their classes. Even teachers from different classes are very approachable and also caring like Miss Marcia, she is Peruvian as well as us. The infrastructure is in the process of improving (for secondary levels), but from preschool up to fifth grade they cover every single requirement. For us swimming is a must, NAS has a good swimming instructor, I noticed how my kids improved their swimming skills when we go on weekend trips. Something that I would like to remark is the presence of kids from different countries and religious background. My children developed very good relationships with different kids as well as us with the other parents. The NAS community is very supportive and caring of the others, I guess mainly because most are foreigners. When you walk around the halls of NAS you can feel that all kids feel in a good environment, as I said at the beginning the good vibe is in the air.
