Nursery Manager

Responsiblities

• Lead and manage the overall day-to-day academic and operational functions of the Nursery including: delivering the vision of the group; maximizing the number of children on roll in the various programs; recruitment, retention and development of staff; overseeing day-to-day financial systems with the head office support teams.
• Ensure high standards of care and early education are effectively delivered to children across all age groups from 6 months to Age 4.
• Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS curriculum, under-pinned by developmentally appropriate play-based activities, and which is enriched by Fortes’ accelerated learning programs;
• Ensure that the state and standard of premises, resources and equipment is maintained at the highest quality standards, and are compliant to the regulations of the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) &/or Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Municipality (DM), and other government authorities

The post holder will have comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations and previous success in managing a Nursery. Experience in EYFS of the UK National Curriculum / Montessori / Reggio Emilia is essential. The post holder must hold a Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university or equivalent.
