Job Summary

In this role, you will provide appropriate holiday information to the customer ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times.

Specific responsibilities of the role are

  • Attend to all inquiries as per agreed booking and services processes as well as time frames
  • Maintain prompt communication with the customer towards conversion of the inquiry
  • Maintain an above average productivity with booking files handled
  • Complete bookings for customers and ensure Holiday quotations are provided with clear information about the inclusions, exclusions, terms and conditions as per applicability
  • Use of Online booking engine whenever possible or use the offline work process templates provided.
  • Benchmark and compare suppliers’ price and availability options whilst costing
  • Follow up to obtain customer’s acceptance
  • For Doha bookings, submit visa applications (when required), and once approved, provide it to customer well in advance
  • Issue documentation after full payment is received.
  • Ensure all Senior Operations Agents are well trained to handle their responsibilities.
  • Guide and coach the Senior Operations Agent whenever required.

About You

  • You hold a Diploma or Associate Degree with minimum 3 years of job-related experience. Bachelors Degree is preferred.
  • You have experience in Holiday/Tour operations preferably within an Airline/Travel Agency/Tour Operator environment. You have experience in selling holiday packages by providing appropriate holiday information, package cost, reservations and final documentation on payment.
  • You have good communication skills and excellent knowledge of the Leisure travel business, travel destinations, local market trends and practices within the GCC region. You have good analytical skills and high degree of attention to detail.
