Job Summary

Jobs at this level are responsible for managing the day to day operations of Human Resources Planning & Development activities including supervising collation of requisite HR data, managing routine tasks in the design of frameworks, conducting training need analysis, organizing internal training programs and reviewing relevant reports. Also, they are responsible for reviewing all technical reports and forwarding to the immediate senior, for analysis and approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.
  • Supervises collation of data used for various Human Resources Planning & Development processes including high potential information, work force requirements, employee engagement data etc., by coordinating internally with various sectors.
  • Supervises identification of competencies required for various jobs within each Sector and ensures effective monitoring of the usage of STC’s competency dictionary.
  • Manages routine tasks in the design of various end-to-end Human Resources Planning & Development processes, in compliance with established standards.
  • Supervises the administration of surveys for analysing STC’s salary structure, grading methodology, employee engagement, internal customer satisfaction and leadership performance (through 360-degree surveys).
  • Conducts training needs analysis at the organizational, division and individual levels in order to ensure a comprehensive assessment of organizational learning needs.
  • Maintains the corporate training calendar based on identified training needs and circulates them in the organization.
  • Provides information on corporate training courses availability to participants. Act as a point of contact for employees who are registered for the corporate courses.
  • Organizes internal training programs by performing review of participant lists, distributing relevant training material and assisting in the training administration.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of on-the-job training techniques and methods in the organization to enable experiential learning among employees.
  • Resolves escalated queries related to periodic HR surveys and forwards the same to seniors, for complex issue resolution.
  • Participates in conducting research to stay abreast of best practices in order to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement in relevant policy areas.
  • Supervises consolidation of Human Resources Planning & Development material (such as training material, policy and guideline documents, organization structure documents, workforce optimization material, employee engagement reports, benchmark data) and coordinates with the Document Management Department to update the database on a regular basis.
  • Manages collation of employee feedback on the Human Resource services being provided to the business.
  • Assists in the payment procedures for all work outsourced to third parties and reports the budget status on a regular basis to immediate senior.
  • Reviews technical reports related to human resource and organization development activities, in a timely manner, as applicable to the role.
  • Supervises identification of any recurring process issues or discrepancies and makes recommendations to improve current processes.

Qualifications/Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.

Required Experience

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development area.
  • Professional certificates such as CIPD, SHRM, and Job Evaluation are essential.

Desired Skills And Knowledge

  • Intermediate proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Intermediate proficiency in business acumen.
  • Basic proficiency in end – to – end human resource process design.
  • Intermediate proficiency in report writing.
