Ottawa Christian School

Ottawa Christian School is an interdenominational Christian school that seeks to provide students with a Christ-centered elementary education. We aim to educate children in a vibrant and creative environment, equipping them for a life of faithful Christian discipleship and service. Ottawa Christian School is affiliated with Edvance and Christian Schools International.

The OCS Association was formed in 1958 and received its provincial charter in 1965. The school officially opened in 1966 with 50 students. After renting in several locations, we constructed our first building in 1969 at 2191 Benjamin Avenue.

The school partners with families to recognize and cultivate the diversity of talents and abilities. We acknowledge the image of God in all of our students, our student body and our school community.

• Following Christ and His example, we acknowledge that learning is for serving. The students use their talents and gifts to serve others in their class, their families, and their communities.
