At least one full scholarship is available for applicants who are ordinarily resident in the EEA/Switzerland and who are applying to the full-time DPhil in Zoology. Preference will be given to projects which involve the application of computational methods to biological questions.

The scholarship is jointly funded by the University and by NaturalMotion Ltd. NaturalMotion Ltd develops computational methods for animating movement, as used in Hollywood films and computer games. The founder, Torsten Reil, is an alumnus of the Department of Zoology at Oxford.

The scholarship covers course fees provides and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.

Selection is expected to take place in April 2021.
