Pakistan Embassy College Beijing

Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) was established in 1969 upon the personal request of the then Prime Minister of China, Zhou En Lai, to President Muhammad Ayub Khan of Pakistan.

PECB is a co-educational, full-time English-medium school offering internationally recognized CIE University of Cambridge programs, such as GCE/IGCSE (after 10 years of formal education) and International ‘AS’ and ‘A’ levels (after 12 years of formal education). For Pakistani students, the College provides Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) approved curricula for Secondary School Certificate (IX, X) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (XI, XII).

The College serves a diverse community, welcoming the children of expatriate Pakistanis, diplomatic staff posted in Beijing, and international students from over 60 different nationalities worldwide.

The College’s faculty comprises highly qualified staff recruited from both Pakistan and the local community. All senior staff members hold at least a master’s degree in their respective disciplines, coupled with teaching qualifications. They bring extensive experience in delivering Pakistani and international education, having been selected from top institutions in Pakistan.

Facilities at the College encompass dedicated play areas for various age groups, football ground, basketball, volleyball, badminton courts, and table tennis facilities. Academic amenities include well-lit, spacious classrooms, biology, chemistry, physics, and computer labs, along with a language lab for English and Chinese language instruction. The College boasts a library, a resource room, and a reading room, while a fleet of transport vehicles ensures convenient pick and drop services for students and teachers alike.
