Part-time Instructor in Graphic Design

Job Summary

The Frances Rich School of Fine & Performing Arts seeks a part time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in Typography.

Required Qualifications

• MA in Graphic Design / Visual Communication, Typography or equivalent field with at least one degree from a US or UK institution.
• PhD or MFA helpful.
• Eligible for Ministry of Education registration number.

Knowledge

• Specialized and broad theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Typography.
• Significant professional experience and practical knowledge in the field of Graphic Design or Visual Communication.

Experience

• Teaching Experience in higher education in the field of Graphic Design / Visual Communication.
• Proven track record as a design professional with knowledge of practice-based research.
• Evidence of development and delivery of Graphic Design-related projects with emphasis on Typography.

General Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
