Job Summary
The Frances Rich School of Fine & Performing Arts seeks a part time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in Typography.
Required Qualifications
- MA in Graphic Design / Visual Communication, Typography or equivalent field with at least one degree from a US or UK institution.
- PhD or MFA helpful.
- Eligible for Ministry of Education registration number.
Knowledge
- Specialized and broad theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Typography.
- Significant professional experience and practical knowledge in the field of Graphic Design or Visual Communication.
Experience
- Teaching Experience in higher education in the field of Graphic Design / Visual Communication.
- Proven track record as a design professional with knowledge of practice-based research.
- Evidence of development and delivery of Graphic Design-related projects with emphasis on Typography.
General Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
