Job Summary

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree-The American College of Greece seeks a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in philosophy, with emphasis on Business Ethics.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Philosophy, preferably in the area of Ethics.
  • At least one year of higher education teaching experience.
  • Outstanding command of spoken and written English.

Experience

  • Experience in teaching in higher education in the field of Philosophy, preferably in an institution in USA or the UK.
  • Ability to supervise student research projects.
  • Good research record and publications in philosophy required.

General Skills

  • Ability to contribute to the curriculum of the Philosophy program.
  • Ability to deliver effective teaching.
  • Research skills and ability to supervise student research projects.
  • A commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collegiality.
