At Prestonwood Christian Academy, as a Christian, liberal arts PreK-12 school, faith is not separated from learning, but rather integrated intentionally, resulting in a distinctive environment and community. We cultivate intelligent Christ followers who can articulate their worldview in a marketplace full of opposing ideas and ideology!

Prestonwood Christian Academy was established in 1997 with the core philosophy of Kingdom education; bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation. Kingdom education is the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ. At PCA we develop a child according to his or her specific abilities given to them by God, so they feel empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust and obedience to Him. PCA students experience a culture of spiritual and scholastic excellence. This culture is encouraged, expected and modeled throughout every facet of the school's environment.

One of the top reasons for the existence of Christ-like schools is to provide an education that is effective in the spiritual development of its students. Understandably, spiritual formation is a deliberate and intentional plan advanced by each believer to stimulate continuous growth throughout one’s lifetime.

Kingdom education, the philosophy at Prestonwood Christian Academy, focuses on bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation. Kingdom education is defined as the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ, developing a child according to his or her specific abilities given to him by Christ, so that a child would be empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust and obedience to Christ.

Every member of the PCA community is challenged to understand and commit to the school’s Mission Statement: "To assist Christian parents by helping equip students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches and communities for Christ." By adhering to the mission statement members of the PCA community understand striving for academic excellence requires honesty, integrity and rigor.

At Prestonwood Christian Academy, we are committed to diligently training students to have depth in their belief system-- a belief system that transfers over into their daily lives. What could be more important than the spiritual and scholastic formation of your child's heart and mind? You can read more about what makes PCA different here!

Today’s students live in a digital world in which technology is the primary medium for learning and communication. Just as Jesus spoke to fishermen and farmers in words familiar to them, infusing technology in the classroom enables PCA teachers to reach these students in their native language. PCA’s Technology Program is designed to provide students with tools to access, create, share and collaborate as global, digital citizens. This program isn’t about technology, but it is about engaging students in learning so that they reach their God-given potential, as outlined in PCA’s Portrait of a Graduate.
