At Princess May Primary School, we believe learning is a lifelong process.  Learning is defined as an alteration in long-term memory.  If nothing has altered in long-term memory, then nothing has been learned.  The curriculum is the progression model.  We have a firm belief that knowledge is transferable, and thus have devised key concepts that underpin our curriculum.  The key vocabulary and knowledge learned across our curriculum facilitates comprehension and promotes our love of reading.  Our curriculum develops pupils’ knowledge, skills and abilities to apply what they know and can do with increasing fluency and independence.  We have ensured that our curriculum has scope, coherence, sequencing and rigour.  Overall, our curriculum gives the knowledge and cultural capital pupils need to succeed in life, underpinned by our school values of Respect, Empathy and Determination (RED).

I went to this primary. I started out in reception all the way till year 6 until I had to leave for secondary. I absolutely loved the school. The teachers were patient and caring. They helped me a lot and pushed me further when coming to my education which helped me get an above average score in my SAT'S. They also had wonderful trips as rewards for our hard work and great projects like the school play which was a really fun bonding experience. The head teacher is really kind and wonderful as well. He deals with issues carefully and very well.

I had a really fun time selling here. Everyone was super nice they even found a place for me to charge my phone when they were super busy. Great people ! will for sure come back ! did quite well selling my stuff too

I remember my youth at this school. Enjoyed time spent their in 1966 and I am thinking that how time flyes. Good old memories.
