Priory Fostering Services provide high-quality, stable foster care placements in warm and welcoming family homes in the West Midlands and South West of England for:
By delivering a comprehensive package of support, we help vulnerable children unlock their potential and face their adult lives with confidence and a sense of worth. We believe that all children and young people have the right to grow up in a safe, supportive and loving family. Our foster carers provide the right environment and levels of support to make a real and lasting difference to children’s lives. Together, we help young people develop a strong sense of identity, pursue a range of hobbies and interests and reach their full potential.
Fostering is looking after a child or young person in your home and caring for them whilst their own parents are unable to do so. Our approved foster carers provide a warm and safe home so that children can recover and thrive. We are driven by a passion to support young people in a way that best suits their individual needs and circumstances. Children and young people in foster care need to experience normal family life. As a foster carer you will provide a stable family environment, nurturing and guiding young people to unlock their unique potential, and equipping them for a brighter future.
There are a number of reasons why a child or young person may not be able to live with their own family, such as bereavement, illness or family breakdown. In some cases, a child may be removed from the family home for their own safety. Their local authority then becomes responsible for their welfare and they become a ‘looked after child’.
