Project Control Manager

Job Summary

We require someone with immediate availability to start a new project. Supervise the Planning and Costs of an international project in Dubai.

Functions

• Supervise the work team for the issuance of certifications and invoices to the client for early collection.
• Support in the control of subcontractor certifications.
• Interface between the financial department and work for the revision and change of erroneous imputations in SAP accounting entries.
• Valuation and approval/rejection of Purchase Orders, within the internal approval chain of the company.
• Follow-up meetings with the Team and client.
• Responsible for the creation of time baselines (planning baseline) and costs (BoQ).
• Responsible for the monthly issuance of the internal report on the status of the project together with the Project Manager. This report will be sent to Management showing the progress of the project, the planning status and the expected final cost and the gross margin of the project, achievement of monthly milestones, treasury status and risk monitoring.
• Review and approval of project monthly cost control updates (expected final costs and gross margin) together with the Project Manager.
• Support and advice cost controller in the issuance of Time Extensions and Cost Claims.

Professional Experience
7-10 years of experience in Project Planning & Control functions.

Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture.

Requirements

• Knowledge of SAP and Primavera 6.
• Advanced English level (C1). Arabic valued.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership skills and teamwork.
• Experience in construction projects (on-site).
