Job Summary
- Follow the instruction of Construction Manager/ Project Manager and administratively & functionally reporting to them
Preparation of project Method Statements and Overall Work program
- Gathering site reports to develop the overall daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Issue to site Engineers, daily, weekly and bi-weekly extracts of the Project Schedule for guidance and execution
- Ensures that additional works issued by the client are properly quantified and costed
- Prepares variations, cost claims and all financial adjustments for the perusal of the Project Manager
- Preparation & update Project Schedule using Primavera, MS Project etc. covering entire scope and within defined timelines
- Coordination with various departments like Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, quality & Commissioning Departments and arranging site internal meetings with Site Engineers, Construction Manager & Project Manager and calculate Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery Requirement
- Plan & prepare the budget for the project and monitor the expenses
- Create Cash flow analysis
- Prepares and issues work schedules for the implementation of the Project Manager
- Prepares Billings, Invoices and other financial entitlements
- Monitoring engagement of manpower and machineries as per plan and ensure maximum utilization of resources
- Raising requirement of material and machineries in advance to ensure work should start and finish in stipulated time
- Prepare Shop and As-built drawing along with Draftsman, if required
- Prepare monthly reconciliation statement of all construction consumable material
- Supervision of sub-contractors work and preparing site technical information & query
- Ensure continual improvement of site in terms of cost & time and meeting the assigned targets
- Other than above, any job assigned by Construction Manager/ Project Manager has to be complied within the time frame provided
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience required: 5 years for Degree holder & 5-7 years for Diploma holder (experienced in Earthworks, Offshore Pipeline works & Marine Construction Projects like rock revetment, reclamation, dredging works etc. are preferable).
Qualification & Skill set desired: B.E./B.Tech/ Diploma (Civil Engineering), excellent in Primavera P6, knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Office Package, Good communication skills, Hardworking, Flexible in working hours.
