Rail Alignment Engineer

Job Summary

As a Rail Alignment Engineer, you will provide rail track alignment designs and perform design reviews for freight & passenger railways including rail facilities in all design stages.

In addition, your responsibilities include:

• Deliver rail track designs in multi-disciplinary environment.
• Design horizontal and vertical alignments as well as developing cross sections and estimating quantities for plain line and depots.
• Perform reviews for designs produced by the Contractors.
• Adhere to project deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually with minimal supervision.

Here’s What You’ll Need

As a successful candidate you will have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil / Transportation Engineering. You will have experience in rail alignment designs with a very good knowledge of Bentley Rail Track, Microstation and AutoCAD software’s alongside a good understanding of international standards. You will have experience in construction and/or construction supervision working on international projects. You should have interface knowledge of track with other disciplines. Previous experience on metro alignment design is an added advantage.
