Along with your Christian home and church, Christian schools help create a strong foundation for life. Redeemer offers you a place where your teen can grow and nurture both their faith and friendships. A place where teachers are as passionate about Christ as they are about academic excellence. At Redeemer Christian High School, we:
Our mission is to provide a community of learning that challenges students to develop disciplined hearts, minds, and bodies, according to the full measure of Jesus Christ. Redeemer Christian High School is an independent, faith-based school with a positive and supportive school culture. Since 1975, we’ve provided a quality, Christ-centred education to Ottawa area students in grades nine through twelve.
Redeemer Christian High School is a caring, innovative, and Christian community of learners. We attract students from Ottawa and the surrounding region who are dedicated to learning excellence. Our passionate teachers and staff engage students to help them excel both inside and outside of the classroom. What makes us exceptional?
Redeemer is a private school inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Successful students receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Because our curriculum delivers distinctly Christian content, we also offer a Christian High School Diploma to those students who complete extra requirements.
Redeemer teachers aim to engage the hearts and minds of students, to challenge them, and ultimately, to strengthen their character. They integrate a Christian worldview into their curriculum by focusing on the significant and meaningful questions and issues. It is important to us that our students are equipped to think critically about the world around them and to engage in analysis, evaluation, and synthesis.
At Redeemer, it’s about providing opportunities for learning. We offer a wide range of courses at the applied and academic levels, in a semester system. Our desire is for students to find programs that fit with their dreams and aspirations. We offer options in Math and Sciences, English and Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and Technology. We have a co-op program where our students learn as they work in our community and in local business.
Our students are prepared to further pursue their areas of interest and expertise in post-secondary education. We have a Guidance Department that assists our students in planning their academic program and in applying to colleges and universities.
