As Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profit through the delivery of world class customer service and effective merchandising. You will manage the retail operations in accordance with company policy. You will have the overall responsibility for sales, customer service, marketing and promotions, merchandising & stock control.
To be successful in this role, you should hold minimum 10 years experience with at least 7 years in similar operations such as fast moving consumer goods or luxury brands. Management experience within the travel retail industry is highly preferred. You must be sales focused with a broad retail background including, purchasing, store operations, marketing and promotions.
You should have an in depth knowledge of key concepts such as margins, pricing, retail IT systems, merchandising, in store stock layouts, price ticketing, warehouse/store logistics, passenger traffic trends, customer service standards, promotions and new business developments. Management skills with the ability to implement strategic decisions and foster team work are essential pre-requisites for this role.
