1. Camps & Classes by Golden Gate Skateboarding Camps

Join us for skateboarding camp at Waller Street Skatepark and Balboa Park.

All skill levels are welcome!

Each day we will start camp with an introduction to skateboarding specific stretching/yoga routines that improve performance and reduce injury probabilities.

Next, we will be covering more beginner level skills like pushing the board properly, turning, drop-ins, and kick-turns, all the way up to more advanced skills like Ollies, kickflips, 50-50 grinds, frontside 180’s and many more tricks.

We will be following social distance practices at all times during camps. We take all of the precautionary measures to stop the spread of Covid-19.

2. Painting Winter by Art School of San Francisco Bay

Fall!  Students will create from scratch unique compositions in watercolor, acrylics, collage, mosaics, and mixed media techniques, learn about various fall traditions from around the world, and master traditional autumn crafts!

Monumental winter landscapes, energetic winter sports, traditional winter celebrations – this camp is all about winter! Students will bring home several winter-related paintings and master oil/acrylic painting skills.

This camp will teach you:

• Painting a landscape (acrylics):
• mixing a desired color,
• understanding areal and linear perspective,
• brushwork,

• animal anatomy
• representing fur texture
• Drawing people:

With exciting activities, engaging friends, and a break from routine, we’re here to keep the fun alive whenever the school calendar gives you a chance to play!

The goals for the classes are to deepen students Spanish skills with diverse activities tailored to their age and level of proficiency

5. Winter Break Camp by 888 Table Tennis Center

Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, we have a camp for you this Thanksgiving break! We offer beginner ping pong and intermediate/advanced competitive table tennis!

Work hard alongside Olympians! Let’s learn to dominate the game of  table tennis. Our professional camp sessions, led by international coaches who produced Olympians & World Championship medalists, teach you to dominate the game of table tennis by offering system training with a focus on level-appropriate individual drills, multi-ball training and additional physical conditioning.

*Please dress in athletic attire and bring a water bottle (can be refilled at our centre), a packed lunch (if enrolling in a full day camp) and a paddle if you have one (if not, we will provide paddles for use). Pre-packaged snacks will be provided throughout the camps.

6. Hummingbird Kids Winter Break Camp by Bay Area Kids Camp 

Our camp is focused on exploring and playing in nature. The goal of this camp is to let children be children, letting them play in nature while learning about their surroundings and the balance in nature.

Each day we take a small group of children and after meeting up for circle in the morning, we head off to different local state parks, beaches, creeks and farms.

Activities are TBD, however here are some of our past adventures:

• A day trip to Harley Goat Farm to look for frogs in the pond, visit the goats, pig and the Alpaca before heading to Pescadero beach to play. (We do not go into the ocean waves.)​
• A day trip to Half Moon Bay we might hike to see some horses or swing on a cool rope swing before heading to one of the local beaches to play. Depending on the beach we might dig for crystals at “dog beach”, build sand castles and explore the tide pools or build a driftwood fort at San Gregorio State Beach.
• Hiking through the Redwoods at Memorial County Park or Purisima Creek to play at the creek. We try to catch and release crawfish, count the banana slugs along the way and look for newts.
• A day trip to Hidden Villa to see their big garden, the farm animals and hike in the forest to play at the creek.

On all of our adventures, we have seen everything from the smallest insects, frogs, banana slugs, turkeys and deer to watching whales spouting and birds of prey flying.

Please, make sure to pack a snack and a lunch for your child and provide a booster seat if your child is under 8 years and 80 pounds.

7. Woodworking Winter Camps Bay Area by Celsius and Beyond

Using your hands, you’ll get to hammer, saw, screw, sand, drill, and paint to your heart’s content. Our program encourages exploration and allows you to take home all your projects and cherish them for years.

Safety is our top priority. Electric saws are excluded to ensure a secure and enjoyable crafting experience.

8. Winter Break Adventure Camp ActivityHero

With the holiday season fully upon us, we invite you to join our special winter camps. This season has so much excitement; our camps always promise to be a blast! It may be wet or dry, but rain or shine, it will be a great time.

With a legacy dating back to 1971, Adventure Camp has pioneered combining education, entertainment, structure, and spontaneity to create a well-balanced and fun program. Our experience allows us to choose various activities based on the daily weather and season, the children’s ages, and the counselor’s expertise. We use our counselor-driven vans to explore the city and countryside.

As a fully mobile day camp, we prioritize safety and comfort. Our vans are equipped with everything we need, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable day for your child. With a strict policy of seat belts for all children and a low child-to-counselor ratio of 7 to 1 or less, you can rest assured that your child is in good hands.

9. Little Learners Fall Winter camp by active

Little Learners is a program designed for young children and their grown ups. Each class focuses on a different animal and includes songs, games, activities, and a small snack, with a full range full of exciting discoveries.

What We Do: Fine Art & Fun

Campers learn fine art concepts, such as color theory, composition, value, and perspective while having fun exploring a variety of different mediums and activities, including painting, drawing, sculpting, arts & crafts and creativity games.

Our art camps are designed to teach and develop students overall drawing skills, painting technique and artistic creativity.

11. LEGO, Minecraft, and Coding Winter Camps by Tech Knowhow Kids

• Small-group Winter Camps in the San Francisco Bay Area starting December 23.
• Camps are held 4 days each week – with Wednesday being a day off for the holiday.
• Winter Camps will be held in Cupertino, San Mateo and San Francisco.  We are also working on adding a camp in Palo Alto but will not know availability until early November.
• Our teachers mentor students, ages 5-10, in LEGO Design & Engineering and Minecraft adventures.
• Unique camps with new custom-designed curriculum every season.
