Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary

The Mathematics teacher will be directly responsible to the Mathematics Coordinator. The class teacher is responsible for implementing the vision and mission of the school in the context of the classroom and other areas of the school in which they work. They should strive to understand the curriculum they teach and to communicate the content from a Christian perspective in an age appropriate manner.

Employment Details

• 12 months, temporary part-time maternity leave position (0.7FTE over 4-5 days per week)

Key Requirements

• Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion
• Suitably qualified for the teaching position
• Ability to teach Year 7-10 Mathematics essential
• Be a team member
• Well-developed classroom practices
• Can develop a culture of learning
• Competent with technology
