Security Guard

Job Summary

IIQAF is seeking an experienced Security Guard to provide a wide variety of services with a focus on protecting the staff, premises, and assets of our rapidly growing company.

The Security Guard is a professional who is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of IIQAF personnel, buildings, and property. The Security Guard will monitor the facility entrance, transport staff and guests, report suspicious activities, and enforce site rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Secure the facility by patrolling and inspecting areas of the facility using various equipment and systems.
• Check identification of individuals entering the site or seek alternative forms of identification from guests and personnel.
• Record and maintain log of visitors and activities in the premises and provide assistance when needed.
• Maintain the safety and security of the facility by alerting relevant personnel of potential safety risks, suspicious activities and unauthorized personnel.
• Investigate any suspicious activities and collect evidence as needed.
• Assist in responding to emergency situations on-site, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance equipment as required.
• Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous security experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge of security operations and industry regulations
• Proficient in the use of security equipment (alarms, surveillance cameras, etc.)
• Excellent physical fitness
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Available to work shifts, including weekdays and weekends
