Seneca believes in creating great student experiences that provide enriching learning opportunities — both inside and outside of the classroom. This includes immersing yourself in the workplace as part of a work term or field placement or expanding your skillset by studying abroad. These enriching experiences will give you an edge when you enter the workforce or pursue further studies.
Co-ops and works-terms will give you a chance to put into practise the skills and knowledge you have gained in the classroom. Many of our programs offer an optional work term for qualified students, while our degree programs include a mandatory work term.
Some academic programs include field placements that are typically unpaid but provide an opportunity to gain essential experience in the workplace. During your placement, you will also build a network of professional contacts within the industry and enhance your resumé — both of which will be invaluable resources upon launching your career.

Seneca@York is the best campus. It feels like a small-knit community with amazing professors and faculty. And best services such as the library, Learning Centre, Financial Aid office, Registration office, Counselling and Accessibility Services, etc. Overall, Seneca College is highly recommended for anyone and most of my professors and the staff were like mentors to me as they were helpful in preparing for the future.

Amazing school, professors who are in the field currently and can give helpful teachings and amazing programs/school/opportunities for art students as I currently am an art student of Seneca! I took their Art Fundamentals and going to be taking their Illustration program in the fall! Definitely recommend this school for art students! I'd like to say it is on par with Sheridan now.

They provide me with decent services when it comes to my education. I learn a lot from their accounting classes and I’m still here trying to obtain more. Teachers are great and their wifi is amazing. Good selection of food and they have a wide variety of computers to choose from and study locations to just chill and have a good time. I would recommend this place to anyone and keep up the great work!

Amazing campus, almost every course has multiple slots to choose from fitting your schedule perfectly, never seen such a flexible custom full time option before! I new a classmate who was taking a full time program and only attended twice a week!
