Job Summary
Account managers are at the core of Careem Express. They are our face to clients and we rely on them to provide an amazing merchant experience by building strong relationship, addressing issues quickly and using data insights to add value. They are responsible for growing demand in a sustainable way.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly GMV targets through a mix of new merchant signups and increasing share of business with existing accounts.
- Be responsible for key accounts and large regional accounts.
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Pricing understanding and negotiating best prices with merchants.
- Work closely with operations / logistics team internally & make sure the client requirements are serviced and strike the right balance between operational feasibility, delivery cost and client experience.
- Manage day-day business and operational relationship with merchant partners at operational staff level and increase share of business / get exclusivity on delivery partnership.
Profile requirements
- 5+ years of sales & account management experience (preferably from eCommerce Logistics background)
- High performer – track record of generating revenue for businesses
- Business development mindset coupled with Operational detail orientation
- Problem solver
- Energetic and excited about joining a startup environment
