Senior ICA Engineer

Job Summary

Jacobs is looking for a talented Senior ICA Engineer to join our UE&I team in Dubai. You will be given the opportunity to deliver challenging Infrastructure projects, whilst also working collaboratively to establish project requirements in alignment with our UE&I strategy.

Requirements:

• Design Instrumentation and Control system for facilities including compressor station, process piping, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, and firefighting system.
• Design of SCADA/PMS, F&G and PAGA system, Access control and telecom block diagrams, layouts, infrastructure cable routes.
• Ensure all ICA engineering deliverables meet industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance on the selection, installation, and calibration of instrumentation devices, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurement and control processes.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordination with multiple disciplines.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree related to I&C Engineering.
• Experience in professional I&C engineering, particularly in the water / wastewater or Oil and Gas industry.
• Should have advance knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, Communication Networks. This is to include knowledge in deliverables such as P&IDs, Instrument Selection and Application, Control System Configuration and Specifications, and related low voltage communications systems.
• Should have very good verbal and written communication skills in English, which are essential for Client, Interdisciplinary and Vendor coordination, and coordination with other work-share offices.
• Hands on experience with industry design software, such as Smartplant INTOOLS, Openplant etc. would be valued.
