Senior ICT Application Developer

Job Summary

Integration is crucial component of IT structure which links applications together. Integration platforms requires developers and designers (among other important roles) to fulfil business needs.

The purpose of the jobs is to support STC through the design, development, testing and deploying complex Enterprise Application.

Integration (EAI) services using webMethods technologies that meet the needs of STC in terms of the business requirements and technical solution design and implement the same while integrating with multiple platform and ensuring backward and forward compatibilities.

It also constitutes responsibilities for providing Technical implementation solutions for enterprise application Integration, self–service portals, automation & orchestrating tools, at corporate level and across the organization, as per the changing customer requirements, market trends and advances in technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently write, debug and test code from specifications using SAG / web Methods tools and other tools as appropriate. Assist in analysis of business problems with high complexity.
• Developing, testing and deploying complex Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) services in web Methods according to the solution design.
• Efficient review of application, information, business, data architecture requirements for compliance with Enterprise Architecture.
• Providing support to Architecture/Design team regarding the technical feasibility aspects and information gathering requirements.
• Prepare deployment documentation and support deployment process. Perform sanity –post production- test.
• Prepare low level design document of implemented service and support document.
• Works as a fully contributing team members, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibility.
• Determining and designing system specifications, standards, and policies as needed.
• Supports and oversees other software engineers (developers) by providing advice, coaching and personal development plans.
• Regularly, review and improve overall integration platforms performance and code quality.
• Sets standards for quality at code, design and architecture levels.
• Manage written and verbal communication with immediate client, supervisor and peers, as well as, presentation, organizational and planning tasks.
• Reporting activities, issues and providing estimations to the section head.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software engineering.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related area.
