Job Sammary

The purpose of this job is to manage the design process & enhancement of the User Experience & User Interface of our digital products In order to achieve our customer’s satisfaction, and normally this is happening in a regular bases as there are always new features & functionalities added to our digital products which require some research and analysis to understand them, and some investigation on the backend systems to find out the type of information that can be extracted, and then making an initial design (wireframes) to easily be discussed with the mobility and web dev teams and making some changes if needed based on system limitations, also to be used for usability testing purposes with our users, and at the end to visualize those designs using standard guides to the actual interface that can be implemented on different platforms (web & mobile) and set the rules of the interaction between the users and interfaces and handover the final designs to the mobility and web dev teams for implementation and guide them to the proper way of applying the design to reach a higher level of design quality.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibility is to manage the teams who handle the below tasks:

• Gather the Information of the business requirements and making some Investigations & Analysis.
• Start the process of Design Thinking and prepare Wireframes & User Flows
• Discuss the initial design with the mobility and web dev teams to see if there some technical limitations.
• Building the Information Architecture specially for Revamp Projects
• Make a Low-Fidelity & High-Fidelity Prototypes
• Prepare User Personas
• Make User Studies using A/B Testing, User Interviews, Focus Groups, Surveys, Card Sorting or Usability Tests
• Make Test Sessions Recording
• Design Visual User Interface
• Support the Mobility team to apply the visual design properly
• Making Creative Visual Elements
• Set the Interaction Rules & Animations of the Interface & Behaviour Defining (Ex. Errors)
• Prepare Visual Style Guides
• Building Design Language System (DLS)
• Consistency Maintaining
• Creating Pixel Perfect Assets
• Building Content Strategy
• Writing UX Content (Arabic & English)
• Writing Interaction Content (Notifications)
• Content Rephrasing, Enhancing & Tone Defining on Different Digital Touchpoint.
• Writing Descriptive Content (Products & Features)
• Converting Visual Interface Designs to web pages using HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Building Web Component Style Guide
• Web Design Optimization
• Support the Web Dev team to apply with the HTML & CSS Designs.
• Cross Browsing & Responsive Design Test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or relevant majors.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, or relevant majors  is preferred

Certifications

Professional certifications such as:
UXD (User Experience Designer)

Required Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
