Job Summary

Job Duties

• Independently teach university-level classes (lectures, seminars, excursions, etc.) as part of the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate programs (particularly teacher education studies at the secondary school level)
• Provide support to manage the institute’s organizational tasks and provide support to manage the institute’s
  degree programs (particularly teacher education studies at the secondary school level)
• Coordinate academic events and publications
• Acquire and implement research projects

Your Qualifications

• The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree with a focus on economic and social history
  and must have a minimum of two years of post-doctoral education experience
• Research focus on modern economic and social history of central Europe (16th-19th centuries),including inter- and transregional perspectives
• Possess experience in holding university-level history courses in the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree programs
• Existing or prospective corresponding habilitation or post-doc, or comparable qualifications
• Acquire and manage economic and social-historical research projects
• Professional experience in academic organization (events, editorships, management functions, etc.)
• High level of activity in the international scientific community as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team
