Job summary
Jobs at this level are responsible for carrying out a range of marketing and corporate communication activities such as collating market data and customer requirements, participating in the design and execution of marketing initiatives and developing technical documents with direction and guidance. Also, they are responsible for implementing all planned communications initiatives including media planning and management, exhibitions and events, seminars, eChannels (social media, online marketing, and telemarketing) and public relations etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs routine activities within the specified scope.
- Coordinates with seniors and understands the goals, plans and budgets involved for each marketing and corporate communication campaign/project, to ensure implementation of assigned tasks within the budget.
- Performs routine tasks in the design of various end – to – end marketing initiatives including marketing research, competitor intelligence, market segmentation, event management, branding etc., under the guidance of immediate seniors.
- Collates market and competitor data of various STC’s products and services and supervises non – complex analysis of this data, to highlight trends to reporting seniors.
- Executes STC trademark registration processes and procedures by updating and maintaining a library of trademark documents
- Participates in building “brand champions” across STC, in order to ensure effective knowledge transfer of advertising and branding policies and enhance adaptability to established guidelines.
- Collates inputs from key stakeholders related to the feasibility of introducing a new product/service and assists in documentation of the concept.
- Communicates requisite product/service improvements to the Network General Directorate basis the market data analysed by the reporting team.
- Participates in the implementation of articulated communication plans related to media relations, event management, digital marketing and public relations, as directed by the immediate senior.
- Coordinates externally with relevant vendors including printing staff, graphic designers, market research companies and event managers etc. and resolves escalated simple queries related to marketing material development.
- Consolidates Marketing and Corporate Communication material (such as published marketing material, policy and guideline documents, competitor intelligence documents, benchmark data) and coordinates with the Document Management Department to update the database on a regular basis.
- Participates in all non – complex tasks of STC’s branding initiatives including brand image analysis and brand communication, under the guidance of immediate senior.
- Develops technical reports related to marketing and corporate communications and forwards these to seniors, for review and approval.
- Resolves issues related to marketing data reporting and mitigates identified business and financial risks, in order to avoid any delays.
- Assists in centralizing all Intellectual Properties (IPs) developed or acquired through corporate communication activities (brand imagery and copyrights from advertising campaigns including TV, software licenses or database accesses, etc.) and maintains a list of resources for the benefit of STC’s corporate communication professionals.
- Implements brand guardianship processes, procedures and ensures effective adherence to guidelines.
- Liaises with other team members to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
- Helps with routine work and escalates issues, as necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Digital Marketing
Required Experience
2 – 4 years of experience working in the market research, digital marketing, advertising, public relations or other marketing areas
