Job Summary

The Service Planner will be required to consolidate the entire Planning process for the repair Services for Gas seal and Wet Seal products as well as maintaining sales order book planning and business KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Service Order Book management in SAP including:
  • New SMO / Equipment number creations For Wet seals and Gas Seal Products.
  • Creating demands (Raising PR) for spare parts on each SMO
  • Preparing Service quotes
  • Handling logistics / export/ import documentations for DGS components like Seats Re-grooving, Carrier and locking sleeves recoating
  • Keep a track on receipt to delivery of customer goods
  • Service Order Tracker ownership
  • Report service status on E3 meetings
  • Following up with local agent on quotationsFollowing up with Dubai logistics team against KPI deficiencies

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in similar field
  • Previous experience in a Planning / Internal sales role; professional experience in commercial and admin.
  • Professional experience in a service environment within engineering industry
  • Commercial/Trade knowledge having exposure to Qatar import & export rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • A strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio
  • Knowledge of oil & gas, petrochemical and general industries
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
  • Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills to record and understand data and metrics
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to get on with multi-functional and multi-nationality peers
  • Ability to write technical, concise reports in a formal and professional manner
