Job Summary
- Engineer specialized in Earthworks, Marine & Offshore Pipeline Works, sheet piling and concrete piling in Marine field and earthworks
- Conduct daily tool-box talk & risk assessment of the project along with safety officer
- Ensure safety of the work site and ensure works to be carried out as per risk assessment and safe working procedure
- Doing the role of mentors for Foreman and supervisor
- Making micro plan for the work and work as per the plan
- Ensure zero idling of resources
- Monitoring engagement of manpower and machineries as per plan and ensure maximum utilization & optimization of resources
- Raising requirement of material and machineries in advance to ensure work should start and finish in stipulated time
- Raising Inspection Request
- Applying for work permits
- Preparation of Work Method Statement
- Prepare Shop and As-built drawing along with Draftsman
- Co-ordination with Site QC Engineer to raise IR and carry out inspection & ensure compliance of the observation
- Ensure works to be carried out as per specification
- Inform concerned department for repair / replacement in case of any break down of Machineries
- Ensure sampling and testing of concrete, sand & rock at site
- Discuss technical or any other issue of the site with Project Manager in time
- Make daily progress report of the site and sent it to the Construction Manager/ Project Manager
- Monthly reconciliation of material
- Supervision of sub-contractors work and preparing site technical information & query
- Ensure continual improvement of site
- Ensures to achieve the assigned budget and target dates
- Other than above, any job assigned by Construction Manager/ Project Manager has to be complied within the time frame provided
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience required: 3-5 years for Degree holder & 5-7 years for Diploma holder (experienced in Earthworks, Offshore Pipeline works & Marine Construction Projects like rock revetment, reclamation, dredging works etc. are preferable).
Qualification & Skill set desired: Diploma/ B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Good communication skills, Hardworking, Flexible in working hours.
