Welcome to our school’s website. We want it to reflect what a fantastic place our school is for children to learn, develop and play. We are a diverse community of learners, and we emphasise excellent progress, whatever each individual child’s starting point or circumstances.
We use our values to guide our day to day work and all of our staff work as a team to bring out the best in every child. After many months of consultation with our children, staff, parents and community our Infant School and Junior School decided to federate and become South Harringay School. Our federation took effect on September 1st 2016. It has allowed us to build on the excellence found in both schools, by bringing the knowledge, skills and commitment of both sets of staff together into one unified team.
One of my greatest pleasures is showing visitors around our school. We never fail to receive comments about how warm and inclusive the school feels, how well behaved and welcoming our children are, and how easy it is to see the excellent progress that our children are making. School Vision
Our school is a thriving village ready to welcome those who have travelled from near and far and need a place to belong. Our village welcomes all people, and, those who struggle to feel at home will be enveloped within our heart, because time and care is taken to support those first tentative steps and each individual journey.
As village elders, we’re excited by the variety that village life brings. We try to make every day better than the last. We prepare our people for their time when they will join another village, or even create their own.
