At Sri KL, we would like to think of ourselves as ‘The Malaysian School In English’. Our medium of instruction is predominantly English but our values are firmly Malaysian along with our culture and our food. That makes us a different sort of international school where the majority of our students are Malaysian, along with our teachers and administrators. At the same time, Sri KL is the school of choice for many expatriates who wish to embrace Malaysian culture and gain a deeper knowledge of the national language. And all are welcome.
Our philosophy has always been to provide a well-rounded and complete education for our students, emphasizing strong community values and discipline whilst at the same time encouraging our students to excel academically. We’re also believers in the old adage that healthy bodies make healthy minds and our commitment to sporting and co-curricular activities reflects this belief.
The education industry in Malaysia is experiencing massive change. Liberalization of the private sector and a shift in our parents’ expectations have prompted us to rethink the way we run Sri KL to ensure our school has a sustainable future and can continue to grow and prosper. The best way to achieve this is to transform Sri Kuala Lumpur into a not-for-profit foundation. And that’s what we have done, so that our focus is firmly on providing the right facilities and the right teachers and administrators to make Sri KL a leading centre of learning where self-discipline, sporting prowess and excellence in academic and creative endeavours can be nurtured to their full potential.
Our Vision
To establish Sri Kuala Lumpur as an outstanding institution providing excellent quality education that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century.
Our Mission
To develop students to their full potential and imbue them with healthy habits of mind, tenacity of spirit and moral anchors to become effective individuals and responsible citizens.
We believe that a love of learning can be inculcated in young minds through a system where knowledge acquisition is stimulating and enjoyable. In the pursuit of this idea, Sri KL’s students are encouraged to be self-learners and inquisitive about the world around them. At the same time, we firmly adhere to a balanced approach towards education. That’s why our students are exposed to a diverse and challenging co-curricular programme which includes participation in one or more clubs or societies, gymnastics, swimming and various indoor and outdoor sports.
At Sri Kuala Lumpur Secondary School students learn to become young ladies and gentlemen who recognize and respect the customs and traditions of Malaysian society. Secondary School is also a place of self-discovery and independent learning where students are encouraged to express their individuality and develop their academic and co-curricular potential to the fullest degree in a disciplined environment that promotes creative thinking and expression.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
At Sri Kuala Lumpur in Subang Jaya, my daughter has not only excelled academically through the IGCSE program but has also received remarkable support from the staff, who genuinely care about each student's success.

Sri Kl is a very good school. Most of the teachers there are quite good(from what I've heard from my brother). The only issue I have with the school is the traffic, but aside from that everything about this school is amazing
