On behalf of the children, staff and governors,  St Aidan’s is a unique, one form entry school in the heart of north London.  We are very proud of what we are able to offer our community, with a staff that always goes above and beyond, ensuring we have happy and thriving children, who leave us fully prepared for the next stage of their lives.

We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school with strong Christian principles, which welcomes children from different faiths and non-faith backgrounds.  Our admissions are controlled by the Local Authority, so children do not need to attend the local church to be admitted.  We are proud to be a community school, with a rich mix of families from a huge variety of backgrounds.

Our size makes a difference; our children are known and supported by all the adults in school, creating our very special family feel.  Our values of community, sustainability, kindness, resilience, inclusiveness and peace are at the core of everything we do.  They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens, who achieve the best they can.

Please phone us on 020 8340 2352 if you would like to arrange a visit to St Aidan’s. We encourage prospective parents to visit the school.

Vision
Inspire and prepare for life in all its fullness

Ethos
We warmly welcome children from all faiths, as well as those from non-faith backgrounds. Together, staff, children, parents and governors, endeavour to make our school a friendly place in which everybody feels valued.

Our approach is based on core values and we expect all children, staff and stakeholders (parents, carers and governing body members) to respect them.

Our values are:

  • community
  • sustainability
  • kindness
  • resilience
  • inclusiveness
  • peace

Each half term has a different value as a focus which is introduced in assembly and discussed in more depth in classes.
