St John's Lutheran School

St John’s Lutheran School is a Christ-centred school, nurturing each individual child in a caring, inclusive family environment; committed to quality global education. Our school motto is “Learning to Serve”. This motto recognises that learning is ongoing. Each member of our community – staff, students and parents continue to learn. Most importantly, we continue “learning to serve” – both the mission of the Church as well as the wider community.

Our vision for St John’s is that we are building a passionate learning community, are Christ-centred, are child-focused, are investing in families, hire highly skilled, caring staff. We believe that we are more than just attractive classrooms and well-resourced facilities (which we are) but also that we are creating connections.

As a Lutheran School, St John’s has the ultimate aim of equipping children for this life and the next – nurturing our students in a growing relationship with their family, their friends, the community and their faith in Christ.
