St. Joseph’s is an 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school situated in the heart of St. Joseph’s Parish, Port Talbot. From Year 7 to Year 13 and beyond, we offer a pathway through Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, preparing our students for the rest of their lives. Our aim is always for excellence, for an education that inspires the development of the whole person, emotionally, spiritually and academically. The ethos of this school is Catholic. The school was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. The school is conducted by its governing body as part of the Catholic Church in accordance with its Trust Deed and Instrument of Government and seeks at all times to be a witness to Jesus Christ. We ask all parents applying for a place here to respect this ethos and its importance to the school community. This does not affect the right of parents who are not of the faith of this school to apply for and be considered for a place here.

Our catholic Christian ethos demands the highest standards of ecpectation and commitment recognising the distinct human dignit of every one of our students and doing all within our power to unlock his or her potential.
