A very warm welcome to our school website. St. Peter's is a friendly school that is situated on two sites. We are often described as having a peaceful village atmosphere and parts of our Junior building date back to 1837. We have a strong Christian tradition and ethos and have close links with St. Peter's Church and the Diocese of Birmingham. Our school motto is: St. Peter's prides itself on its warm, caring environment and the supportive partnership it forges with parents. We value each child as a unique individual and ensure there is a range of opportunities provided for their academic and personal development.

Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. Our school ethos at St. Peter's CE Primary School underpins everything we do. St. Peter’s religious character stems from its historic church foundation which is in accordance with the principles of the Church of England. St Peter's serves its multi-faith community within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourage and promote Christian values through the experience we offer to all of our children and this is summed up in our school mission statement: We live by our school motto and values in everything we do.....

Every lunch time and home time we say a prayer to thank God for our food, our day and to keep us safe until tomorrow.... Have a look through our gallery and different weblinks to gain an insight into the heart of the school community at St. Peter's Primary School.

All staff have high expectations of all children and children’s work across the curriculum is of good quality. Historically the school has been proud of its end of key stage outcomes as we have been above national in most cases. School uses Insight Tracker to check on the progress being made by all pupils in every year group. Termly pupil progress meetings focus on the children who have not made expected progress. Interventions and strategies are discussed with teachers to ensure these pupils do not fall further behind and catch up.
