Sumandeep Vidyapeeth

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, a unitary Deemed to be University, was established on 17th January 2007 under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

A Unique medical Deemed to be University the first of its kind to be established in Gujarat, added another mile stone achievement by acquiring Jain minority status in 2014.

The state of the art infrastructure and facilities available in the University helped in being awarded the highest Accreditation of “A” grade by National Assessment &Accreditation Council (NAAC),in 2015.

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth incorporates globally benchmarked “Evidence Based Education System”, in all its academic programs, highlighting a unique and emerging trend in academics in our country.

The world class sports and games complex has been built and maintained apart from multigym and yoga facilities. The student community use the facilities to get rid of their academic fatigue.

The University facilitates the student participation in sports activities throughout the year at regional, state & national level competitions. Various sports activities supported by coach are conducted regularly to address physical-mental well being of the students as well as for their overall personality development. The talented students are identified and are put through programmed coaching as well as intra institutional sports activities with active involvement of staff and students.

Study facilities are at the heart of our Institutes. All Institutes have their own fully furnished libraries with access to thousands of reference text books. Journal subscriptions, catalogues and CD ROMs.The Institutes continue to invest in learning resources to provide the students with the best in the field. Friendly library staff is ever ready to assist the students in making the best utilization of the library and its resources.

The Library is equipped with a vast array of reference text books, journals and online journal subscription Library is equipped with a computer room for internal access, and an audio-visual room for viewing of compact discs.

University Buses are available regularly on specified routes from city to the university for the staff and students at subsidized rate. Buses are provided Monday through Sunday. Please note that there are separate schedules for weekdays and weekends. The weekend schedule is normally in operation during holidays, unless otherwise stated. Schedules are displayed at the Notice Board and Security Office.

Services are provided between the route of Baroda and internal suburbs Like Alakpuri, Railway Station, and Bus Depot. Special bus requests can be made for SV-related events if details are submitted in writing at least one week in advance to the Transport In charge.
