Sunrise is a licensed nursery since 2005 with accumulated experience of more than 30 years in the field. Child smile to us is as important as feeding him/her.

Sunrise provides full range of services for infants, toddlers, and pre-school children in a well-furnished and equipped facility. We accept infants at the age of three (3) months, toddlers 1-3 years and pre-schoolers 3-5 years.
We operate after-school care, winter camp and summer camp for KG1-G4 students.
We serve 6 of October city, Sheikh Zayed City and their outskirts.
We work 5 days a week Sunday to Thursday; we might receive children on Saturdays from 8 am. To 4 pm. as a day care with limited activities and no meals for extra daily rate.
Our normal opening hours are from 8 am to 3 pm. Parents have a free one hour to pick up children till 4 pm.
We offer extra hours for extra fees; a) Morning extra hour from 7 to 8 am. b) Afternoon extra hours from 4 to 5 or to 6 pm.
Sunrise International Curriculum: is based on the International Preschool Curriculum - a hybrid between the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) preschool curriculum and the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), taking many of the best features of the progressive nurseries.
For parents who plan for an American system school or other; we will consider the language differences; meanwhile the basics of the English language and the contents of the curriculum will ensure that the child is well qualified to cope perfectly with those systems.
Through observation, inquiry, exploration and first-hand experience, children discover the joy of acquiring knowledge and new skills. It is also a curriculum that provides very clear measurement of performance.
Our Curriculum is constructed upon four distinct but complementary principles, which shapes and underpins our practice and philosophy at Sunrise International Nursery:

Staff: the management of Sunrise International have more than 30 experiences in the field of education, child care and management with outstanding record of achievements.
Sunrise has well qualified staff; main teachers and co-teachers have broad experience working with well-known international nurseries in Egypt and abroad. Of them, English and French are their mother tongue language. Others have good command of the German language as well. They earned related qualifications and undergone professional training programs in education and child care fields.
Helpers and housekeeping staff have deep experience in nurseries and educational institutions and dealing with children.
Nutrition and Meals: at Sunrise International Nursery, we strongly believe that a healthy, balanced diet is essential for growth and development in the less than 5 years age category.
We prepare all main meals and snacks on the premises by our certified nursery cook. We always provide fresh, balanced meals to the children at each mealtime.
If your child has any specific dietary requirements or you want further information on our rotating menus, you will be able to communicate that during registration time.
Our facility: our building is modern, safe, secured, well-equipped and encouraging for playing / learning. The building has plenty of wide windows allowing sunny and airy healthy environment. All rooms are air-conditioned, have celling fans fixed, sun screen curtains and modern furniture. Suitable learning materials and toys are in doubles to satisfy kids and reduce frustration.
Two separated air-conditioned indoor areas for Montessori and gross motor and PE activities. The Montessori class room is furnished with Montessori materials, sensory boards, and furniture. The gross motor activity area is with rubber flooring and anti-chock wall covering.
Modern toilets with compact panel separators providing privacy equipped with water heaters and low level bases and sinks. Infants have a comfortable changing table in bathroom.
More than enough well-trained and qualified staff is dedicated for outstanding caring and joyful learning experience for children.
Outdoor garden: a 300 m2 well-secured garden covered by elegant tensile tents, artificial turf and equipped with games complexes and toys for all ages. The garden is monitored by CCTV cameras and enough supervision.
Health and safety: The building has a certified fire-fighting system with dedicated water tanks and pumps; our staff is well-trained in using it. All electrical points are above children level with safety slots. All areas that are used by children have anti-slippery flooring and have fixed hand rails where needed.
Sunrise is known over the years with its outstanding hygiene and cleanliness. The whole facility is cleaned and disinfected with antibacterial cleansing, and sanitizers are used frequently and as need during the day.
A contracted doctor is paying visits during the week to regularly check the health conditions of children and gives recommendations on health issues.
Children are moving from hand to hand and in a disciplined manner.
Security: the building is surrounded by a high wall and high iron gates. A security guard is responsible for the gates and the surrounding area which as well monitored by CCTV cameras. Every corner inside the building is monitored by CCTV cameras to ensure full compliance with Sunrise policies related to dealing with and handling children, applying the safety and security procedures and applying the learning programs.
Bus Service: air-conditioned bus service is provided upon request with clear policy of timings, fees and who collects the child. Please refer to nursery administration for details.
Mobile application: parents will be able to receive a daily report on their child day life in nursery though a mobile application. They will also be able to receive pics, news and performance report through the application. You will be able to send your comments and receive answers through the same application.
Trips and excursions: local trips and excursions happen regularly to support and enhance children’s development. Accordingly, you will be asked to consent to this as part of our procedures. We conduct risk assessments prior to any trips and outgoings.

Our son and I loved the Nursery. Initially we didn't know what he was doing there as he didn't share much information at home. But he was always very happy to go to the nursery and over time we were very impressed with the things he was learning there. The staff is very caring and dedicated.
