Sunshine is an international preschool located in Muscat, Oman and caters for children from 4 months up to the age of 5 years. As a fully accredited franchise of the International Preschool Curriculum, the school adheres to strict international standards in the areas of curriculum development, teacher training, hygiene, health and safety, professionalism and school governance.

As the first IPC school in Oman, Sunshine is pleased to be an IPC flagship school and welcomes prospective parents to see how Sunshine can accommodate your children’s needs in a safe and healthy environment. Being IPC School, Sunshine Nursery has IPC syllabus (American Syllabus) for Nursery, Kg 1 & Kg 2 with the touch of Sunshine syllabus according to the requirement of Middle East Education. Sunshine Nursery is also a Day care center. Day care facility available for kids from 3 months – 5 +years for all 12 months except for Government holidays.

The Nursery is set in a beautiful villa situated in heart of the Muscat. It has the space and the clean environment that is welcoming, enjoyable and secure for children of all ages.

We accept children for Level 1 - 2+ yrs, Level 2 - 3+ yrs & Level 3 - 4+ yrs We also have Day care/Baby sitting facility throughout the year for kids aged from 4 months - 5+years.

We’re proud to be the first nursery to introduce the IPC into Muscat, Oman. As a flagship school for the IPC, Sunshine Nursery implements the IPC curriculum and works to high compliance standards. Our teachers are all fully qualified and trained in IPC. The IPC is a comprehensive curriculum for nurseries, preschools, and kindergartens throughout the world. It’s been designed by early learning specialists, and is constantly updated to reflect educational developments. It’s also designed to work in a multi-lingual approach.

The main language used at Sunshine is English, but we introduce all children to Arabic and Quranic teachings as this is a mandatory school subject in the Oman. In addition, the IPC encourages local traditions and promotes an international outlook, as well as looking at current affairs themes and encouraging conservation. The curriculum is outcome-based, setting learning objectives such as size and measurement, shapes, colors, phonics, reading preparation, motor and social development, listening and current affairs.
