Sky International Preschool has been a trusted name of the ex-pat parent community in Hanoi for more than 25 years. Having partnered with Dragonfly Education: Sky Schools, in 2022 - Sky International Preschool is now officially beginning a new chapter of expansion, across Vietnam and the region. With a strong belief in children's limitless potential, the school's professional education team is dedicated to nurturing every child's confidence, curiosity, and creativity through an authentic play-based, child-led Reggio-inspired program. At Sky International Preschool, each child is a protagonist in their own journey of play and learning; the school, teachers, and parents act as partners while guiding and nurturing the children to Thrive in School - Thrive in Life.

The programme is diverse by using open-ended play and art experiences we enable the children to make their own choices around learning centres in and outside of the classroom. We encourage the children to explore ideas and themes drawn by their interest and enthusiasm and document their progress so we can later review and revisit the experience with them.

The teacher provides an environment which is rich with possibilities for the child's fine and gross motor skills development. The teachers plan the day's activities but also serve as facilitators to enable children to make their own choices dependent on their level of interest.

Everyday the children will have at least one Extra Curricula activity with a specialist teacher, these subjects include Art in the Atelier, Sport / Gym in the gym area, Music activities in the music room, Cooking & food science in the Cooking Lab, Library time and Story Telling in the Library, and Story Telling Yoga in the Music & Movement room.

Our 5-6 year old class continue to follow a Reggio inspired play based curriculum however we do incorporate some parts of the British Curriculum for literacy & numeracy, in order to prepare them for entrance into Grade1.
