Teaching Assistant

Job Summary

The Faculty of Engineering invites applications for the vacant Research / Teaching Assistant position (1) at the Department of Computer Engineering. A B.S. degree in Computer Engineering is required. The applicants are required to be students registered in a Master of Science or Doctoral Program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

Requirements:

• Must possess the qualifications required by Law 657, Article 48.
• Must be younger than 35 years by the announcement deadline.
• An ALES score is required from resident Turkish citizens who are applying for the position programs. Turkish citizens who are residents of foreign countries and those applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE scores instead of ALES.
• Candidates must have ALES Quantitative score of at least 70, YDS score of 60 or an equivalent exam score with similar scores.
• Diplomas given by universities abroad must be approved by the Turkish Higher Education Council.
• The applicants’ Bachelor of Science diploma score and foreign language score, are converted to a score out of 100, using the Turkish Higher Education Council announced procedures.

• Curriculum vitae
• A copy of identity card
• A copy of the diploma
• Transcript
• A document that shows the level of English
• A student certificate that proves that the applicant is currently pursuing M.S./Ph.D. studies,
• ALES or equivalent score
• A document about the military status of the applicant
