Temple Christian College

Temple Christian College is a Year 7 to 12+ Christian, co-educational school operating over several campuses within the state. Since its humble beginnings in 1983, the Mile End Campus, located in the metropolitan area of Adelaide, one mile from the city centre has been home to thousands of students from all over Adelaide. Embracing the full vision of Temple Christian College, the Mile End Campus offers its students and their families all the benefits of a city based school in an authentic Christian community.

Temple Christian College is a member school of Adelaide Christian Schools, a ministry of Adelaide Christian Centre. Under the governance of Adelaide Christian Schools incorporating Temple Christian College, Sunrise Christian School, Sunrise Christian School—Whyalla, Sunrise Bethel Christian School–Port Moresby, PNG and in relationship with Bethany Christian School we encourage each student to 'Pursue excellence for the glory of God' and to become a person of influence in their home, in their community, in their workplace, in our churches and in our nation.

It is the mandate of our school to nurture and encourage each student in the development of their Christian character and calling releasing them in due season to fulfil the purposes of God. Acting as an extension of the home and the Christian church, our passion at Temple Christian College is to provide a safe and encouraging Christian community to prepare our students for their life beyond the classroom.

Since the foundation of the school, Temple Christian College has sought to create the opportunity for students to experience life in an authentic Christian community. Unchanged since 1983, our vision ‘Pursuing Excellence for the Glory of God’ remains as our core driver in our mission of developing our students in Character, Service and Influence, strengthened from a circle of values that encapsulates: Faith, Community, Integrity, Resilience, Creativity, Learning and Empathy.

It is our desire that we empower students to grow in Christian character, Christian service and to be a Christ-like influence in the school community as well as the wider community. At Temple, we believe that Christian character is developed through growing in our relationship with God which helps us to grow to be more like Christ in our personal character. Out of this growth in character we develop a heart for His service and seek out opportunities whereby we can develop our personal desire to serve.

We believe that we have all been called to have a Godly influence within the school and wider community and we are passionate about growing Godly leaders in our students that will continue to have a marked impact of our society well beyond their school life.
