Trevor-Roberts School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 13 years. High success rates throughout the school are achieved through small classes and individual attention. Academic and social self-confidence and a sense of responsibility are built up in a happy atmosphere, geared to increasing motivation and encouraging pupils to fulfil their potential.
Started in the early 1950s by Christopher Trevor-Roberts, the school provides a happy and stimulating environment in which children can develop and learn. Specialist subject teaching from the first year onwards gives our children the opportunity to be inspired by people who are expert in and highly enthusiastic about their subject. Each child is treated as an individual, and the commitment and interest given to them by the staff allows them to reach their own true potential. The children learn to respect the community of which they are a part, their peers, and above all themselves.
It is our strong belief that much can be expected of a child if she or he is given self-confidence and a sense of personal worth and does not feel judged against the attainments of others.
When children move on at 11+ or 13+ to senior school, they do so with an academic rigour and a love of learning. This allows them to succeed in a larger and more impersonal academic environment – something that will support them throughout their lives. Our endeavour is to help children find the confidence to question, communicate and become active yet sympathetic members of their future society. Trevor-Roberts encourages all its pupils to make of life a dream and of that dream a reality, as embodied in our school motto.
The Junior Department takes children between the ages of 5 and 9 and it is expected that the majority of children continue into the Senior Department. Although the two departments are integrated in aims and spirit, children in the Junior Department have separate classrooms, play area and lunch room.
High success rates throughout the school are achieved through small classes and individual attention. Academic and social self-confidence and a sense of responsibility are built up in a happy atmosphere, geared to increasing motivation and encouraging pupils to fulfil their potential. Children are encouraged to work to the best of their ability and to find their own highest level of achievement.
Close liaison is maintained between the school and parents, and progress reports are sent home over the course of the year. Parents are advised on suitable schools for their children. The Heads of both departments are available to discuss any issue, either academic or personal, that arises during the course of the term.

This kind , small community is like my second home... Even though its not a boarding school its pretty close!.. Every person that steps foot in and out of the school is welcomed just as if they have been there forever... and surprisingly the lesions are always fun (most of the time!)
