Curiosity is at the core of everything we do at Trinity Prep. Our students and faculty love to ask questions, find answers and, in turn, ask more questions. We encourage students to explore what excites them and examine their intellectual, artistic, physical and spiritual lives. We encourage students to learn about themselves and the world. They do this through activities and projects that speak to their interests, such as studying photography on a class trip to India, establishing a non-profit, creating a tracking system for space debris, going out for the lacrosse team or tending to the school vegetable garden. We are doers, thinkers and creators.

The vision of Trinity Preparatory School of Florida is to be a top college prep school in the nation, built on a foundation of tradition and excellence, while embracing the promise and challenge of the future. The mission of Trinity Preparatory School of Florida is to develop individuals who will excel in college and in life, contribute to their communities, lead in a changing society, and grow spiritually. In support of our mission we reaffirm our commitment to these four core values:

  • Our community values traditions, respects the dignity of each member of the Trinity family, and is safe, caring, and supportive.
  • We are committed to encouraging passionate engagement and providing challenging programs, exemplary instruction, and meaningful guidance.
  • Our school promotes leadership, ethical behavior, personal responsibility, and reinforces the highest standard of character and honor.
  • We affirm the spiritual dimension of life and sustain a community where all are encouraged to explore and deepen their own faith.

The School admits students regardless of race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation/gender identity, or disability who possess the qualifications, motivation, ability, and character which would enable them to succeed in our School community to the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation/gender identity, or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. The School will provide accommodations to students with disabilities to the extent that such accommodation does not create an undue hardship or fundamentally alter the nature of the School’s programs.

Trinity Prep offers an exceptional independent college preparatory education through a challenging and inspiring academic program supplemented by extracurricular activities. Our academic programs are rigorous in the classroom and often extend beyond the boundaries of our campus, providing experiential learning opportunities for students. Classes reach beyond the classroom for things such as shark tagging trips, Florida ecology fieldtrips, or journeys on local and international destinations in which students can use their world language skills by conversing with native speakers. Several Trinity Prep students have been selected by Sanford-Burnham-Prebys Medical Discovery Institute for internships each summer, allowing them to assist with professional medical research projects.

Our curriculum is defined, yet flexible. Students can choose a path that allows them to experience all aspects of a liberal arts education or focus in a certain area. With 29 Advanced Placement courses (AP), 58 Honors courses, and 29 Malone Schools Online Network (MSON) courses, the possibilities are endless. Students have opportunities to travel the world and participate in internships, introducing them to the outside world. But that world also comes to our students through visiting authors, musicians, and leadership speakers who are invited to campus. When a Trinity Prep student graduates, he or she is prepared for the challenges of college, with skills that are relevant and necessary in every field.

We provide unique experiences, including robotics classes, young adult literature courses and clubs, experiential education class field trips, and independent study projects. Our large campus borders a nature preserve that allows for hands-on environmental science, reaching beyond the traditional laboratory experience. We strive to provide a cross-curricular education whenever possible, allowing students to build bridges between subjects as diverse as science and English.
