These scholarships of £5,000 are available as fee waivers to applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. A scholarship provides a £5,000 fee waiver for a full-time taught Masters course* at one of UAL’s 6 Colleges starting in the academic year of 2020/21. We have 150 UAL UK/EU Postgraduate Scholarships offered through two routes, each with different eligibility criteria.

Once you've received an offer of a place for a qualifying course, the ‘my funding’ page on your UAL Applicant portal will be updated to display application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.

As you will need to be holding an offer on an eligible course in order to apply for the scholarship, it is recommended that you make a course application as soon as possible in order to receive an offer with enough time to apply for the scholarship.
If you decide to complete a scholarship application form, we will contact you by email after this scholarship application deadline has passed to let you know if your application has been successful.
Receiving payment
Route 1: All applicants who meet the scholarship criteria and meet the entry requirements of the course will be offered the scholarship.
Route 2: Scholarships will be awarded by a UAL selection panel. The panel will make their decision based on the validation of evidence submitted to prove eligibility and a review of the statements provided as a part of the UAL UK/EU Postgraduate Scholarship (Route 2) application process.
You can apply for any UAL award or scholarship where you meet the eligibility criteria. If you have successful applications for more than one UAL award or scholarship, we will ask you to choose which of them you wish to receive, as you are only permitted to hold one at a time.

*The following courses do not qualify: Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert), Graduate Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Integrated Masters (or any similar course that qualifies for undergraduate support from UK student finance agencies), EMBA, MBA, distance learning, blended learning and online courses.
In addition, you are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK or abroad
