Job Summary

  • Ensure alignment of the vendor management support activities and efforts with Managed Services and Vendor Management priorities and operational goals.
  • Help ensure effective and professional support services are provided to all technology operations in areas of monitoring and assessing vendors’ performance and service quality capitalising on respective corporate-level processes and guidelines.
  • Facilitate the implementation of effective vendor management framework and execution policies, procedures and guidelines taking into account Mobily-level vendor management guidelines as well as the Technology Operations specifics.
  • Work with Technology Operations Departments to track, monitor and report on vendors’ performance and submit associated documents/ reports to line management for review and feedback.
  • Develop and adopt effective practices and tactics to centrally monitor and supervise vendors’ services across Technology Operations departments.
  • Leverage on the overall company wider overall vendor management strategy, framework and policies to execute proper governance and control over service vendors.
  • Ensure proper utilization of vendors’ services (contracted and value-added) in coordination with the functional owners in Technology Operations.
  • Work Technology Operations teams to manage and track vendors’ performance against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreement (SLAs).
  • Report to line management with regards to vendors’’ performance and highlight issues and challenges with suggested resolutions to facilitate decision making by higher authorities.
  • Build and maintain a repository of vendors’ performance and service quality and submit regular reports on the same to line management.
  • Prepare context and content for the periodical management meetings with major vendors with inputs from all concerned functional owners in Technology Operations.
  • Coordinate with the Technology Operations Support team to manage and control requests for new services, credits and penalties.
  • Maintain senior level relationships with vendors and manage handover and transition of new added scope to current contracts.
  • Act as an escalation point for vendors’ issues/ disputes and facilitate timely, efficient and effective resolution of these issues.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations on vendor management discipline (i.e. processes, policies), technologies, tools and systems.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to vendor management as designated by the line manager.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field
