I am a highly motivated, confident and hardworking Math Tutor with strong inter-personal relations capacity and communication skills. I have 7 years experience in teaching mathematics concepts. I am a PGDE holder in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics & Chemistry. I have a profound knowledge of instructional techniques, sound knowledge of student assessment practices, good understanding of student learning styles and ability to promote independent learning among students.

I understand what students go through when it comes to dealing with challenging subjects like mathematics and chemistry, and I have mastered the means to help them overcome these challenges. I help students achieve an understanding and utilization of math concepts by employing online sites, workbooks and homework assignments. I develop daily lesson plans for math activities and also prepare materials to aid students in studying, note-taking and preparation for tests/exams. I focus on individualized learning and motivation through each student’s strengths, interests and aspirations. I provide additional practice problems to students - to reinforce concepts, and guide students to appropriate supplemental material for added explanations.
