Wavertree Church of England School

Wavertree CE School is a small primary school in the heart of Wavertree overlooking the Mystery. The Victorian building was beautifully renovated in 1999 and further improvements have recently been made. Our Christian values (Forgiveness, Hope, Compassion, Fellowship, Respect, and Wisdom) underpin all aspects of our school; staff and children are encouraged to demonstrate our six values every day.

We are very proud of the achievements of our pupils and celebrate success every week. The staff at Wavertree CE School work very hard to provide the children with a broad and balanced curriculum that has been designed to ensure progress. This curriculum is presented through discrete subjects. Teachers are responsible for specific areas of the curriculum to ensure that learning opportunities are maximised each term.

Our curriculum is designed to develop children who:
