Yara International School was started in the year 2003 with the idea of starting a school with a difference, a school which is truly innovative and genuinely child centered catering to the needs of the Indian community. The school is headed by the CEO, Mr. Khalid Al Idrees, a Saudi academician and is lead by Mrs. Aasima Saleem, Correspondent & Principal, and a seasoned academician with more than 30 years of experience in India, Middle East and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Y.I.S is actively supported by a Board of Directors consisting of eminent professionals, educationists and
philanthropists with rich experience in various global corporations. Hundreds of years of collective experience of the top management team ensures a highly matured governance and management system within the institution.
All strategic decisions are made by the Top Management Team. The body meets for periodic strategy workshops, as a minimum once a year during the beginning of the academic year, and conducts a detailed SWOT analysis and Lessons Learned exercise for shaping the future of the institution.
