The Yoyogi International School is a school where rigorous academics is met with an intimate, caring environment. Our mission has not changed since the doors first opened in 1999: to develop individuals from any stage of their academic journey to become life-long learners and caring individuals equipped with the skills to bring value to the rapid-changing world.

At Yoyogi International School, we aim to provide a platform for students to explore and engage in topics that they would otherwise not be able to access through a standard curriculum. A fully authorized IB World school offering the PYP program, and with a curriculum cultivated from the US Common Core and the UK National Curriculum.

With a maximum of 16 students teachers are able to better understand the needs of their students. A smaller class size provides students with greater opportunities to express themselves. At Yoyogi International School, the small class sizes serve to ensure all students’ voices are heard and no students miss any learning opportunities.

Our Vision is to provide our growing school community with an outstanding learning environment; preparing children with the skills, knowledge and aspiration to be active learners within our constantly changing global society.

We foster a love of learning by encouraging children to be resilient, creative and collaborative. We guide children to be open-minded and develop integrity to become active members of the global society in the 21st century. We provide a safe, nurturing and caring environment where each child is supported individually and is inspired to exceed their own academic expectations.

We hold our values front and center as they anchor our ability to continue executing our mission and fulfilling our vision. By cultivating a culture in which students (and adults) are curious, confident, and compassionate, we aspire that each member of our community develops an insatiable appetite for learning, the resilience to fail forward and rise to challenges anew, and a commitment to caring for the communities in which we live.
