Cherry Town Nursery

The Centre is designed as a 'Mini – home' and a learning environment that protects the child's right to a healthy, happy and appropriate childhood. For most children, the long journey of education does not only start when they enter school. It begins at home and continues in nurseries or pre-schools between 3 months and 4 years. The best of nurseries can offer an enjoyable and smooth transition from toddlerhood to the reception classes at primary school. We aim to achieve these outcomes by: Being Healthy, Staying Safe, Enjoying and Achieving, Making Positive Contributions and Economic Well-being. We will do this through the ethos of the nursery, our curriculum, our partnership with parents and outside agencies, and our commitment to high standards and the early years.

We also pay attention on their motor skills. Safe child friendly wooden toys help strengthen their muscles. We let them explore through free play to feed their curiosity with little instructions. Activities are scheduled with special focus on their learning experience.

Exciting activities with focus on developing their socialization skills and addition of words into their vocabulary keeps them busy all day. Focused activities help develop a sense of responsibility and the child enjoys a sense of achievement on completion of assigned tasks. Children are given ample activities to develop his/her individuality andsettle curiosity.

The teachers cherish the child’sinquisitiveness and encourage them to use their imagination through different activities. Painting, dancing and music develop their creative abilities. Introduction to new languages prepare them for the school year ahead. Art work, story telling and group activities develop clear communication and peer interaction. At this age children are highly curious and imaginative, and they enjoy observing other people in action.

Your child’s early experiences are an important phase of life in his/her development. Cherry Town Nursery accepts children between the age of 1 year to 4 years old. The classrooms are age specific with special attention to age requirement.
